An Easter bunny, a Santa Claus or a little elephant made from your own chocolate is a gift with a personal touch. Our chocolate figure moulds let you create figures like these in your own kitchen. The range includes moulds from miniSchoggi, Martellato, Decora, Hans Brunner and Max Felchlin, from small motifs to three-dimensional hollow figures.
Figures for every occasion
Animals and seasonal motifs are the most popular. For Easter there are bunnies in many versions, from a small rabbit to the Maxi bunny, alongside chicks, lambs and hens. For Advent you will find Santa with his jute sack, a snowman and a reindeer. All year round, these motifs are firm favourites:
- Animals: squirrel, elephant, penguin, panda, lion, tiger and whale by miniSchoggi
- Lucky charms: lucky pig, cockchafer and hearts in several sizes
- Sport and games: football in three sizes, chess pieces and playing cards
- For children: gummy bear and little bears in silicone by ScrapCooking
How to make a hollow figure
Start by polishing the mould with cotton wool. Fill both halves with tempered couverture, swirl the chocolate to coat the walls evenly and let the excess drain away. For a sturdy figure, repeat this step a second time. Once the chocolate has set, place the mould in the fridge for a few minutes: the chocolate contracts and comes away from the walls. Then join the two halves by briefly melting the edges on a gently warmed surface. You will find the right chocolate in our Couverture chocolate category.
Care and tips
Clean the moulds with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, without abrasive cleaners, so that the surface stays smooth and glossy. For eyes, bows or buttons, paint the mould with coloured cocoa butter or white chocolate before casting. Brushes and other useful tools are available in our Chocolate and praline utensils category.
Every figure becomes a one-off, whether for the Easter basket, St Nicholas Day or as a gift.
