This sturdy polycarbonate mold helps you to cast a festive chocolate figure. The angel with candle chocolate mold shows a friendly, smiling angel holding a large candle and spreading a wintery atmosphere. What is the mold suitable for? For personal gifts and atmospheric Advent projects; if treated correctly, it can withstand hundreds of uses. How should it be used? Rinse the mold with lukewarm water and mild detergent without lye or rinse aid, rinse and dry thoroughly. From now on, only hold the rim and polish with non-fraying absorbent cotton. Use high-quality, tempered couverture; water must not get into the chocolate. To apply make-up, work from the outside inwards with colored cocoa butter or tempered couverture. White couverture can be colored with fat-soluble powder colors; for beige, mix 1/3 milk couverture with 2/3 white couverture, both tempered. Once the details are slightly set, brush the mold completely with the desired couverture, turning it occasionally and tapping out any air bubbles. Remove any excess with a metal horn, push the mold halves together and secure with clips. Fill, tap to the edge, allow excess couverture to run out and repeat if necessary. Chill briefly for 2-5 minutes. Coat the base with couverture on baking paper, press the chilled tin firmly into place and chill for a further 10-15 minutes. Then remove the clips, break off the overhanging base and carefully unmold with a spatula. Decorate with fondant or sugar decorations as desired and wrap beautifully.
