Bundt & ring tins
There are 38 products.
Bundt and ring tins give a cake its typical ring shape with a hole in the middle. In Switzerland it is also called Gugelhopf, and you will come across names such as kougelhopf, savarin, ciambella and angel food cake. Most of the metal tins in this category have a non-stick coating, the angel food cake tin is made of aluminium, and silicone moulds are available for small portions.
Sizes, patterns and tips
- Classic: Städter bundt tins of Ø 16, 21 and 23 cm, savarin tins of Ø 20, 24 and 28 cm and ring tins of Ø 20.5 and 22 cm.
- Special patterns: the kougelhopf tin «Diamant», a daisy tin, Crown and Rondelle, Lotus, Rose and Brilliance by Nordic Ware, and a heart wreath, which you will also find in our Heart cake tins category.
- Mini bundts: tins for 24, 12 or 6 pieces and silicone moulds by Martellato and Silikomart; more small rings are in our Mini cake Pans category.
- Release: bundt batters like to cling to the ridges. Spray the tin into every groove with a product from our Non-stick spray category so that the cake comes out more easily after baking.
Questions about bundt and ring tins
Bundt, savarin or ciambella: what is the difference?
A Gugelhupf or bundt is tall, usually fluted and made from a creamed or yeast batter. A savarin is a flatter ring of yeast dough that is soaked in syrup or rum after baking. Ciambella is an Italian breakfast cake from Romagna, moist, lightly sweet and often flavoured with citrus; the large ciambella tin in a set of 3 is made for it.
What makes the angel food cake tin special?
It is made of aluminium, measures Ø 25 cm and stands 11 cm tall, with a central tube. This lets the light, egg-white batter climb up the side and bake evenly from the inside and outside. The tin is left ungreased and, according to the product description, the cake cools upside down on the feet of the tin so that it does not sink. The tin is not dishwasher safe.
