Novelty & 3D cake tins
There are 34 products.
Novelty and 3D cake tins turn the cake itself into the design: a dinosaur, unicorn or pony for a children’s birthday, a Christmas tree for the festive season or a bunny for Easter. There are also a locomotive, pirate ship, motorbike, dragon, hedgehog, book and football shirt, plus further seasonal designs such as the Easter lamb, St Nicholas, Father Christmas, nutcracker and a skull. Alongside non-stick steel and aluminium tins there are many silicone moulds, for example the Saint-Honoré 3D star or the large 3D bear.
Among the great classics are the Christmas tree tin and the dinosaur tin. For number cakes we have a dedicated selection in Number & letter cake tins. The Barbie cake toppers with dress tin are a highlight for princess cakes.
Tips for novelty cake tins
- Grease thoroughly: fine relief details release best with release spray – you will find it in Non-stick spray.
- Fill correctly: fill the tin only about two thirds full so details like ears, wheels or points bake through properly.
- Let it cool: turn the cake out only after about ten minutes so the shape stays intact.
- Choose the right batter: pound cake or chocolate cake works better than very light sponge mixtures.
