Porcelain figures
Our handcrafted porcelain figures are a must-have for your king cakes. After all, the goal is to find the king or queen of the day. To do so, place a figure in every cake, crown, or frangipane tart. We offer several themes of figures, from the traditional "Deluxe Epiphany", representing key figures of the nativity scene, to more child-friendly themes like Asterix and Obelix. For collectors and avid fans, we also offer complete sets with all the figures from your favourite series.
King cakes
To celebrate the Feast of Kings properly, a king cake is essential. Whether made with almonds, hazelnuts, or pecans, this treat—composed of puff pastry and a filling known as frangipane—is a favourite among many because it’s simple to make. Want to try your hand at this pastry? Follow our king cake recipe and let us guide you.
King crowns
Craving something sweet? Make our king crown, crafted from brioche dough and sprinkled with pearl sugar. This traditional king crown is the one we often see in shops and bakeries. Whether plain, sugared, or with chocolate chips, you can customize it to your liking. Discover our two recipes on our blog under the bakery section (only in French and German): brioche king cake and king crown.
Frangipane
Looking to celebrate Epiphany but want a "healthy" recipe after the holidays? At Cakelicious, we have exactly what you need! Our light frangipane with a delightful apple flavour is the perfect treat! Not only is it light, but it’s also incredibly easy to prepare. Don’t forget to add charms to determine who will be the king or queen of the day.
