Heart cake tins are what you need for wedding cakes, Mother's Day and Valentine's cakes and any bake made with love. The centrepiece of the range is the series of medium-high heart tins in anodised aluminium in 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 cm, which let you build tiered heart cakes in graduated sizes. They are joined by a heart springform tin of Ø 26 cm and 7 cm high, the two-part non-stick Wilton heart tin of Ø 22 cm, a heart tin with 5 layers for multi-layer cakes and the heart ring tin from Nordic Ware.
For small hearts there is the metal tin with 6 hearts, a heart-shaped paper baking mould in a pack of 4 and many silicone moulds, such as Heart Diamond, Heart Modern, Satin Hearts, Heart with Bow or the Hearts Eros pastry mould with 15 cavities.
Tips for heart cakes
- Plan your tiers: choose the sizes by the number of tiers, for example 15, 25 and 35 cm for three tiers, or 15, 20 and 25 cm for a daintier cake.
- Look after the aluminium: the medium-high heart tins are not dishwasher-safe; wash them by hand and dry them well.
- A heart inside: the two-part heart tin bakes a cake with a heart-shaped core that only appears when you cut it.
- Silicone for desserts: the small silicone hearts suit individual mousses and entremets that you unmould while frozen.

Are there heart tins for bundt and ring cakes?

When is the heart springform tin worth it?
