A travel cake is a compact loaf cake that is easy to soak, glaze, decorate and transport, ideal as a gift or for taking along. The narrow travel cake tins give it a straight, clean shape.
How do I line a loaf tin with baking paper without creases?
The quickest way is the pre-cut baking paper for loaf tins (pack of 10): fold up the sides at the slits so that the narrow tabs sit on the outside. After baking, lift the cake out by the overhanging paper. Without paper, grease the tin with a product from our Non-stick spray category.
