Little chocolate heart bears
Hello food lovers!
Back to school is just around the corner and you're running out of ideas for the kids' snacks?
This recipe is made for you and I'm sure the kids will love it!
Discover our little chocolate heart bears! Not only are they delicious, but also irresistibly cute! :-)

To make 12 little bears you will need:
- 110gr of butter
- 110gr of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 90gr of whole milk
- 200gr of flour
- 1.5 tsp of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 tbsp of vanilla paste
- 1/2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 10gr of whole milk
- 120gr of chocolate spread
Let's get started with the recipe!
First, in a large bowl pour 110gr of butter and 110gr of sugar.
Using the whisk attachment of your mixer, beat everything at medium speed for about 10 minutes.

The mixture will become fluffy and turn pale.
Add 3 eggs to the butter/sugar mixture then mix again with the whisk for a few seconds.
Pour in 90gr of whole milk.

Add 200gr of flour and 1.5 tsp of baking powder.
Use measuring spoons to accurately measure the baking powder.

Finish by adding 1 pinch of salt.
Mix everything with the whisk for 2 minutes at max speed.
There we have a lovely cake batter, nice and smooth and homogeneous. :-)

Grab a small bowl and pour 60gr of batter into it. Set it aside for a moment.
Go back to the large bowl with the remaining batter and flavor it with vanilla paste, measure out 1/2 tbsp. Mix well until the flavor is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

We will now take care of the small bowl of batter we set aside earlier.
This portion of batter will be colored brown to create the little bears' paws.
Add 1/2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder and 10gr of whole milk.

Mix well to obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Pour the two cake batters into two separate large piping bags. Use a jug to fill the bags neatly.
Everything is ready to make delicious little bears!

For this recipe, we chose to use the "large bears" silicone mould, ideal for making fun snacks. :-)
Place 2 moulds on a perforated baking tray. Spray them with release spray to prevent the batter from sticking when unmoulding.

Start by piping the chocolate cake batter into the 4 cavities designed for the bears' paws.
Place the moulds in the freezer for 15 minutes. This step is very important to prevent the colors from blending together.

After 15 minutes, pipe the vanilla cake batter up to halfway up the mould.
Place your moulds back in the freezer for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, preheat your oven to 160°C, fan setting.

After 15 minutes in the freezer, we can now fill the bears.
To save time, I chose to use ready-made chocolate spread.
If you prefer a 100% homemade snack, you can try our "chocolate spread" recipe, it's incredible!
In a small piping bag, pour 120gr of chocolate spread and distribute it into each cavity as shown in the third photo below.

Cover the chocolate spread with vanilla cake batter. Use a small offset spatula to spread the batter evenly.
Bake everything for 20 minutes in the middle of the oven preheated to 160°C.
After this time, your little bears will have risen and taken on a lovely golden color.

Turn them out onto a cooling rack and gently remove the moulds.
The hardest part now is waiting for the little bears to cool down before enjoying them. ;-)

These adorable little bears will keep for 4 days in a well-sealed container.
You can also freeze them to always have some on hand. :-)
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Have a lovely Sunday, food lovers!
