Matcha Iced Latte & Coconut Variant

Matcha Iced Latte & Matcha Coconut Variant
A creamy Matcha Iced Latte is the perfect refreshment for hot days. With its delicate green tea aroma and gentle sweetness, this drink guarantees a balanced moment of enjoyment - easy to prepare and incredibly delicious.
Dear food lovers, we have a particularly refreshing recipe for you today:
Matcha originates from Japan and is made from finely ground green tea leaves. Unlike classic tea, the whole leaf is consumed here, which gives it not only its intense colour but also its unique aroma.
Whether to start the day in an invigorating way or for a refreshing break in between, this Matcha Latte wins over with its creamy texture and balanced taste.
Ingredients
For 1 serving
- 2 g Matcha (approx. 1 heaped teaspoon)
- 50 g hot water (70-80 °C)
- 180 g milk (e.g. oat Barista or whole milk)
- 8-12 g honey or syrup (to taste)
- 120 g ice cubes
Our tip: Matcha green tea
For this recipe, we used our premium quality Matcha green tea, ideal for drinks and desserts.
The finely ground green tea is made using a meticulous traditional process, which particularly highlights its subtle and slightly astringent aroma. Thanks to its fine consistency, the powder blends perfectly into liquids and ensures a smooth, creamy texture.
Whether for Matcha Latte, baked goods, mousses or other sweet creations, this Matcha is versatile and gives every recipe a special touch.
Product: Matcha green tea, 40 g

Preparation
1. Prepare the Matcha base
Sift the Matcha into a Matcha bowl using a fine strainer to avoid lumps. Add the hot water (70-80 °C).

Then quickly whisk the Matcha with a bamboo whisk (Chasen) or a suitable Matcha set for 20 to 30 seconds using M or W movements, until a fine layer of creamy foam forms.

2. Sweeten
Pour the honey or syrup directly into the hot Matcha so that it dissolves optimally.
Then stir in a touch of vanilla, which gives the drink a wonderfully delicate aroma.
3. Assemble the drink
Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the milk over them. Then slowly add the Matcha and stir gently.
Matcha Coconut Variant (extra creamy)
This variant is particularly creamy and aromatic. The combination of two different types of coconut milk results in a wonderfully rich consistency - ideal for all coconut lovers.
