Homemade Kinder Bars
Hey foodies!
I promised you this! 3 weeks of childhood memories! :o)
This morning, I suggest we make homemade Kinder bars, made with one of our chocolate moulds. A real treat!
It's still holiday time around here, so here's a new recipe to make with your kids this week!

The recipe makes 6 Kinder bars. Allow about 1h to make everything.
Here is the list of ingredients:
- 58g white chocolate
- 18g whole milk powder
- 23g whole milk
- 9g sugar
- 90g milk chocolate
- 30g milk chocolate
Start by making the white chocolate ganache so it can cool down.
White chocolate ganache
Pour 58g of white chocolate into a glass bowl and heat the chocolate in the microwave at 600Watt for 1 minute.

In a saucepan, pour 18g of whole milk powder, 9g of sugar, 23g of whole milk and mix with a whisk until the three ingredients are well combined.
Milk powder is essential — it will give the right texture to our Kinder filling.

Then add the melted white chocolate and heat the mixture to 70°C while stirring with a whisk.
Use a thermometer to check the temperature.

Once the temperature is reached, immediately remove the ganache from the heat and pour the mixture into a 30 cm piping bag.
Place your ganache in the fridge for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, we'll take care of making our milk chocolate shell.
Chocolate shell
For this you will need a polycarbonate chocolate mould. We always work chocolate in polycarbonate moulds. :o)
To avoid any marks and to ensure the chocolate releases cleanly, wipe each cavity with a little cotton wool to remove limescale marks and leftover chocolate.

Je n’ai pas de micro-onde. Qu’elle doit être la température pour le chocolat blanc pour la ganache ?
Merci pour votre réponse.
Cordialement
