Änis-Paradies

Since 1985 – a Swiss family business as guardian of tradition

At Cakelicious, we stock the Änis-Paradies range – a Swiss family business specialising since 1985 in the production and distribution of biscuit moulds for Springerle, Tirggel, Änisbrötli and gingerbread. Änis-Paradies sees itself not merely as a manufacturer but as a guardian of a craft tradition that has grown over centuries – a tradition made accessible again for today's kitchens: for home bakers as much as for confectioneries and all those who understand baking as a cultural practice. The motifs depicted date back up to 400 years and unite artisan tradition with modern material development.

Over 1000 motifs – from biblical to botanical

The Änis-Paradies range today encompasses over 1000 different motifs – a diversity without equal. From biblical scenes to historical figures and depictions of everyday life from centuries past, through to nature motifs, animals and geometric patterns: every mould tells a story, every motif is a fragment of living cultural history. These motifs are not reproductions in the narrow sense – they are a bridge between past and present, between the artisan heritage of confectioners and the modern home kitchen.

Änis-Paradies – a Swiss Christmas market tradition

Änis-Paradies uniquely unites historic baking artistry with modern production and is known far beyond German-speaking Switzerland for its presence at Swiss Christmas markets. There, generations encounter the moulds and discover what baking as a cultural practice truly means: not merely following a recipe, but taking a piece of history in hand and bringing it to life again in one's own kitchen. The range of over 1000 different motifs – from historical figures and biblical scenes to nature motifs – makes Änis-Paradies the first choice for all those who wish to bake biscuits with depth and meaning.

Exclusive resin casting process – food-safe and precise

For the production of the moulds, Änis-Paradies has developed its own resin casting process that is food-safe, user-friendly and precise in its reproduction of detail. The moulds render even the finest lines and structures cleanly – for biscuits that not only taste delicious but also impress visually. The material is robust and easy to care for, so the moulds can be used reliably across many baking seasons.
