Why use freeze dried bananas?
The taste of freeze dried bananas is much more concentrated than normal.
All nutrients, yellow colour and taste are preserved. Almost all the moisture is removed leaving a dry breakable and somewhat spongy fruit that can be restored with liquid.
They retain their shape and most of their original texture without becoming mushy in your mixtures.
They have a long shelf life which allows them to be used throughout the year.
How to use freeze dried fruit?
They can be eaten in dry form by sprinkling them on your granolas, desserts, pies and cakes or they can be baked in your cereal bars or in your cake mixes etc...
