Swiss Meringue Buttercream Mix, 800 g
Prepare an airy cream - ideal for decorating, filling and spreading. The Swiss Meringue Buttercream Mix, 800 g makes preparation easy; the consistency remains easy to control and can be adjusted as required. What is the Swiss Meringue Buttercream Mix suitable for? How is it used? Beat 70 g water with 100 g powder for 8 minutes until fluffy, then add 220 g soft butter in four successive portions and beat for a further 8 minutes or so. Process immediately or chill. Flavouring pastes are suitable for flavouring; add liquid flavourings only drop by drop so that the mixture does not become too soft. Use gel or paste colors for coloring. The cream is lighter and less sweet than classic buttercream and is suitable for spreading under fondant to prevent the coating from softening, as a cupcake topping with a star or rosette nozzle or as a filling for macarons.
