Easter Donuts
Hey there, food lovers!
I don't know about you, but I absolutely love the Easter season! The soft colours and endless dessert possibilities!
So here are my little Easter donuts with carrot and cinnamon.

To make 30 mini donuts, you will need:
- 55gr of butter
- 75gr of brown sugar
- 2.5gr of baking powder
- 0.5gr of baking soda
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 80gr of milk
- 130gr of flour
- 50gr of grated carrot (1 carrot)
- 30gr of ground hazelnuts
- 1 mini donut mould
- 1 jar of pastry fondant
- Easter decorations
First of all, we will start by preparing the donut batter.
Donuts
To start, in a large bowl, pour 55gr of butter and 75gr of brown sugar.

Mix the two ingredients together using a whisk for 1 to 2 minutes.
Then add 2.5gr of baking powder. Use the spoon scale to weigh precisely.

Weigh 0.5gr of baking soda, then add 1/4 tsp of salt and 80gr of milk.

Add 1 egg and 1 tsp of ground cinnamon.
Mix well with the whisk for 2 minutes.

Finally, add 130gr of flour, 50gr of grated carrot (about one carrot) and 30gr of ground hazelnuts.
Mix one last time with the whisk for about 30 seconds.

Preheat your oven to 200°C fan-assisted.
Grab a pitcher, place a 40 cm piping bag inside it, then transfer your batter into it.

Grab the mini donut mould and spray it with release spray to prevent your donuts from sticking.
Finally, pour your donut batter up to halfway in each cavity. This quantity will allow you to fill 30 cavities, which means two moulds.
But since baking is quick (10 minutes), one mould will be enough. ;o)

Once the cavities are filled, place your mould on a perforated baking tray.
Place everything in the middle of the oven preheated to 200°C fan-assisted, and bake for 10 minutes.

Once the 10 minutes are up, unmould your mini donuts by turning the mould upside down, then let them cool on a wire rack.

Once the donuts are completely cold, we can move on to the decoration.
Decoration
Grab a jar of pastry fondant.
Pour half the jar into a glass bowl and heat the fondant in the microwave at 600Watt for 20 seconds. A bain-marie also works if you don't have a microwave.

Dip your mini donut into the glaze up to halfway.
Remove it and adjust the glaze if needed.
You will probably need to reheat your glaze a few times. If it hardens too much, place it back in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.
Decorate quickly with glitter, Easter sugar decorations or whatever you fancy. ;o)

And there you have it, my Easter mini donuts!
They are very easy to make and perfect for a snack or to accompany coffee.
I hope you will try this recipe. ;o) Don't forget to leave us a comment below.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Vous pouvez les faire 1 jour à l'avance. Plus ils deviendront un peu sec, au final c'est comme un cake ;) Il sera toujours meilleur le jour même ou le lendemain ;)
Bonne pâtisserie et belle journée
