Oreo Ice Cream
Hey there, foodies!
Summer is just around the corner! Yes, yes!
And no, I'm not going to suggest a diet or exercise routine to get you into your swimsuit this summer! LOL! Quite the opposite.
This morning I'm sharing a quick and easy Oreo ice cream recipe! Super simple and fast to make!
No ice cream maker or special ingredients needed.
My kids loved making these ice creams with me and they especially loved eating them!

Here is the list of ingredients to make 7 to 8 mini ice creams:
- 125gr of heavy cream
- 70gr of sweetened condensed milk
- 4 Oreo cookies
For this recipe I used 2 different molds, the mini heart mold (3 ice creams) and the mini magnum mold (4 ice creams).
A total volume of 280ml.

Start by finely blending 2 Oreo cookies in a food chopper or blender.
If you have neither, simply chop the 2 cookies with a knife as finely as possible.
Then set the Oreo powder aside.

Then cut 2 more cookies with a knife. But this time, don't cut them too finely.
Leave small pieces to give our ice creams a crunchy texture. :o)

Now whip 125gr of heavy cream. Your cream should be well whipped. This is important for the next steps.

Then add 70gr of condensed milk along with the Oreo powder (only the powder! Not the 2 cookies cut into pieces) and mix everything together with a whisk for 1 minute.
Finish mixing with a spatula until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.

Place your ice cream molds on a board so you can transport them easily afterwards.
Then fill each cavity with a tablespoon of mixture. Don't fill them more than that for now!

Tap the molds on the work surface so that the mixture spreads well into the molds and you have no holes when unmolding.
Then insert a stick into each mold, pushing it all the way to the edge of the mold.
Tap the molds on your work surface again so that the ice cream settles well around the sticks.

Now sprinkle the chopped Oreo pieces over your ice creams. Press the pieces in lightly so they sink a little into the ice cream. Not too much! Just a little.
Then add the remaining ice cream mixture over the pieces and smooth everything out with an offset spatula.

Once the ice creams are well smoothed, make sure to clean around the edges (still using the offset spatula). This way, when you unmold them, your ice creams will be nice and clean.
Then place the ice creams in the freezer for a minimum of 2h.

Once the ice creams are fully frozen, unmold them.
Simply pull gently on the silicone mold, then push the stick. And that's it!

And there you have it! Beautiful ice creams for snack time! Pure indulgence!
You can easily replace the Oreo cookies with other cookies, like Ovomaltine cookies for example. :o) Let your imagination run wild!
Happy Sunday, foodies!
