What is it suitable for? For a wide variety of doughs as well as fondant and marzipan - ideal for baking and decorating. How is it used? Roll out the floured dough about 0.5 cm thick with the rolling pin, cut out the shapes and bake at 200 °C until golden brown; thinner will be crispier, 0.5 cm will be slightly softer. Recipe idea for butter biscuits: 300 g flour, 150 g powdered sugar, 8 g vanilla sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon baking powder, zest of an untreated lemon, 150 g cold butter. Knead everything into a firm dough, roll out, cut out and bake. Tip: Cold butter gives dough stability; if the dough becomes sticky, chill briefly. For decorations, mix royal icing according to packet instructions, color with gel food coloring, apply to the cooled biscuits and finish with sprinkles as desired. After use, place in the dishwasher and dry briefly - the tool is ready for the next use.
