How to use the Flavour Paste
The mint-flavoured paste from FunCakes can be added to the batter and is also suitable for baking. It is perfect for giving the batter for sponges or cupcakes a delicious aroma. Add the recommended dosage indicated on the packaging to the batter. If you are baking at high temperatures (above 200 °C), add a little more Flavour Paste, as this reduces the intensity of the flavour. The Flavour Paste can also be added to chocolate Ganache.
Can I use the Flavour Paste for baking?
Yes, the peppermint Flavour Paste from FunCakes is bake-stable and is ideally suited for batters such as sponge or cupcakes. When baking above 200 °C, you should use a little more paste, as high temperatures reduce the intensity of the flavour. This way the fresh mint flavour is preserved even after baking.
How do I dose the Flavour Paste correctly?
As a guideline, use 30 g of Flavour Paste per 500 g of mixture. For cold applications such as Buttercream, bavarois or ice cream, you can follow this recommendation and adjust the flavour step by step to your preference.
