Chocolate mold bunny in an egg made of polycarbonate

With this sturdy mold, you can cast detailed Easter figures with an even sheen. The polycarbonate mold facilitates clean casting and impresses with its transparency and robustness; in contrast to silicone molds, it enhances the beautiful shine of the chocolate after polishing. What is the mold suitable for? The Hare in an Egg mold is ideal for hollow Easter figures that you can decorate individually with white, dark or milk chocolate. How is it used? Temper the chocolate coating in three steps (melt, cool, reheat) to the right working temperature; a chocolate thermometer helps you to check. Rinse the mold with lukewarm water and mild detergent without lye or rinse aid, rinse thoroughly, dry completely and polish with lint-free absorbent cotton or a fine handkerchief. Only hold the mold at the edge and work at room temperature. For the make-up, draw fine details such as pupils with tempered dark couverture in the cornet; fill in larger areas with a brush. White couverture can be colored with fat-soluble powder paint. Allow each layer to dry briefly and check the result by turning the mold over from time to time. To pour, brush the entire mold with the desired couverture, place the halves together (magnets hold them securely), fill the mold, tap out air bubbles with a chocolate hammer and allow the excess to run back. Repeat the process if necessary for a thicker wall. Clean the edges with the metal horn, chill for 5-10 minutes, spread the base on baking paper, press into the mold and chill for another 5-10 minutes. Remove the clamps and chill for a total of approx. 30 minutes until the figure detaches itself; then carefully unmold with a spatula. With the egg mold, you will achieve shiny, even results - ideal for stylish gift-giving.
