Cocoa butter drops for chocolate and melts

FunCakes Cocoa Butter Drops are made from 100% pure cocoa butter and are 100% plant-based. The cocoa butter drops are suitable for high temperatures. They can be used when making chocolate. They can also be used to thin FunCakes Deco melts.

How to use the cocoa butter drops

If melted chocolate becomes too thick when coating Pralines, filling moulds or decorating with a piping bag, add the cocoa butter drops directly to the warm mass and stir thoroughly. A proportion of 10 to 15 percent relative to the amount of chocolate is recommended, so for 100 g of chocolate this is about 10 to 15 g of cocoa butter. Thanks to the drop shape, this amount can be easily weighed out without having to break up a solid block.

FunCakes Deco melts work just as simply: if the melted melts are too viscous for Cake pops, drips or fine decorations, thin them gradually with the drops until the desired consistency is reached. It is best to add the cocoa butter in small portions and check after each step how the mass flows from the spoon. This way you always stay in control and avoid the mass becoming too thin.
