With an adjustable cake ring or baking frame you can make several sizes with a single tool. Diameter, or length and width, can be set; these rings are usually made of stainless steel and are used for mousse cakes, entremets and cheesecakes.

Round or rectangular

Among the round adjustable cake rings you will find, for example, models of Ø 13–31 cm at 7 cm height, Ø 16–30 cm at 8 cm or Ø 15–23 cm at 12 cm. The adjustable baking frame is rectangular, for example 18–34 × 27–52 cm or 25–48 × 10 cm, and an extendable frame of 46 × 32 cm completes the range.

Height up to 20 cm: fixed rings are only about 6 cm high. For a tall cake, this is where to look. Fixed rings in classic diameters are listed under Round cake rings.
