How do I make delicate fondant butterflies?
Roll fondant or flower paste out thinly and dust the surface lightly with starch. Cut out the butterflies, release them with the plunger and leave them to dry in a folded strip of card so the wings stay nicely raised.
What does the butterfly multi-embossing set do?
It combines a silicone embosser with the matching cutter: first you emboss the fine wing pattern into the paste, then you cut out the butterfly precisely. The set works with fondant, marzipan, flower paste or modelling paste.
