Chocolate transfer sheets
There are 35 products.
Chocolate transfer sheets – also known as chocolate tattoos – are printed with coloured cocoa butter that transfers onto the chocolate as it sets. Spread tempered chocolate onto the sheet or lay the sheet, printed side down, on freshly sealed pralines; once the chocolate has set, peel it off and the design shines crisply on the surface. You can choose designs for Christmas, Easter and Halloween – baubles, snowflakes, snowmen and polar bears, Easter bunnies and Easter eggs, pumpkins – as well as flowers, roses, hearts, kisses, music notes, stars, autumn leaves, jaguar print, coloured lines and colour splashes. No special tools are needed.
Tips for chocolate tattoos
- Cut to size: trim the sheet before use – into strips for cake sides or small squares for pralines.
- Right side down: the printed side must face the chocolate, otherwise the design stays on the sheet.
- Be patient when peeling: only remove the sheet once the chocolate is completely firm – the pattern then stays clean and glossy.
- Texture instead of colour: the texture sheet set with 8 designs embosses patterns into chocolate, rolled fondant or marzipan.
Frequently asked questions about transfer sheets
Do transfer sheets work with white chocolate?
Yes. On white chocolate, colourful designs such as roses, spring flowers or multicoloured hearts look particularly vivid; on dark chocolate, golden stars or the sea of stars look very elegant.
What can I use chocolate tattoos for?
For pralines and chocolate bars, for home-poured chocolate pieces to decorate cakes, and for desserts. That way, gifts for Christmas, Easter or Valentine’s Day get a professional finish in no time.
