If you are working with kneaded dough, always use cold butter. After cooling, decorate the scooters with royal icing in cheerful pastel shades such as mint green, light blue or pastel pink for a typical retro look. The embossing serves as a perfect guide for the lines with the cornet. Small sugar pearls as details on the handlebars add playful accents.
