The treble clef and violin cutters, 2-part, are perfect for different types of dough, fondant and marzipan. The cutters measure 4 × 9 × 2.2 cm. Make sure that the work surface, hands, rolling pin and cutters are dusted with flour before use. For a stable dough, it is advisable to use cold butter, as this holds the dough together. As soon as you notice that the dough is getting too sticky or too warm, you can put it in the fridge. A thinly rolled out dough will be crispy after baking. If you prefer your biscuits softer, you can leave the dough 0.5 cm thick. Now cut out the biscuits and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper before baking them at 200 °C until golden brown. Once the biscuits have baked and cooled, you can decorate them with royal icing. After decorating, place the biscuits in a dry place to harden. The cutters can also be used for decorations made from fondant or marzipan. To do this, roll out the fondant or marzipan with a little baker's starch and cut out the motifs. After use, you can clean the cutters in the dishwasher.
