Black marzipan - for coating and modeling
Delicately aromatic marzipan made from almonds and sugar brings flavor and texture to your cake decorations. Black marzipan sets elegant, dark accents and is a popular choice. What is it suitable for? For covering entire cakes, for modeling figurines, flowers or fruit and also for fine pastries and delicate chocolates. How is it used? Roll out the mixture to a thickness of 4 to 7 mm on some baking starch or powdered sugar. For a dome with a diameter of 14 cm, 250 g is sufficient. Cover the cooled cake, cut off the leftovers, knead them and use them for decorations or wrap them in airtight packaging. As the marzipan is slightly sticky, it adheres reliably to the cake and other decorations also stay securely in place.
