Yellow marzipan

High-quality marzipan made from almonds and sugar brings a fine almond aroma to your creations and is suitable for coating and modeling. What is it suitable for? You can use yellow marzipan to cover entire cakes - such as the Swedish cake with its otherwise typically green dome - or to shape figurines, flowers and fruit. How is it used? Roll out the mixture to a thickness of 4 to 7 mm on some baking starch or powdered sugar; 250 g is sufficient for a dome with a diameter of 14 cm. The slight stickiness ensures a good hold, decorations stay securely on the cake and leftovers can be cut off, kneaded again and used for decorations or packed airtight. Popular shapes include marzipan potatoes with cocoa powder or classic marzipan fruits; the yellow color also creates attractive accents when used on its own. Yellow marzipan can also be used to make pralines with chocolate ganache and a thin couverture coating or a juicy fruit and almond cake.
