How to Work with the Silicone Macarons Mat

Place the Silicone mat flat on the Perforated Baking tray so that the printed circles face upwards and are clearly visible. The circles, with a diameter of approx. 3.5 cm, serve as a clear guide when piping: hold the Piping bag vertically in the centre of a circle and fill the area evenly with Macaron batter until the edge is almost reached. This produces shells of a uniform size that can later be paired together.

With its dimensions of approx. 40 x 30 cm, the mat fits the recommended Perforated Baking tray in the 40 x 30 cm format and offers you a generous working surface for a full batch of Macarons. In addition to Macarons, it is also suitable for other pastries and biscuits where uniform shapes are important, as the circles also help you maintain consistent spacing between individual pieces.

After baking, it is best to leave the shells to cool on the mat before carefully removing them. For cutting or portioning, please use a separate surface to keep the Silicone mat's surface intact. The mat can then be conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher, ready for your next baking day.
