Mould four detailed ducklings in one go - ideal as a gift for Easter, during the Advent season or as a special treat. The chocolate mold is easy and efficient to use: clean the mold first with lukewarm water and mild detergent without lye or rinse aid, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not touch the inner surfaces directly and polish them with lint-free absorbent cotton or a very fine handkerchief. How is it used? Use high-quality, correctly tempered couverture; avoid contact with water. Colored cocoa butter or tempered couverture are suitable for make-up. White couverture can be dyed yellow with fat-soluble powder dyes; in combination with slightly darker couverture, this creates the look of small mallard ducklings. Apply the colors in thin layers from the outside inwards and allow each layer to set briefly. Then brush the entire mold with the desired couverture, check for air bubbles and smooth the edges with the metal horn. Put the mold halves together, secure them with the clamps provided and fill the hollow mold. Tap the mold, allow excess couverture to run out and cool briefly. For the base, spread couverture on baking paper, press the mold into it and chill again. Then carefully unmold and decorate the figures with fondant or sugar decorations as desired. The chocolate mold makes a successful icing project possible, even with children - rich in detail, beautifully shaped and versatile.
