Description
Instant dry yeast is a dehydrated yeast that is ideal for making homemade bread and yeast doughs, but also baguettes and buns.
This instant dry yeast, or freeze-dried yeast, comes in the form of small vermicelli.
It's ready to use and don't require rehydration: it can be added directly to your flour with the other ingredients in the recipe or added at the beginning of kneading, without rehydration.
Your yeast should never be in direct contact with the salt. If it is, it will lose its function and your dough will not rise. Therefore, avoid adding the salt just after the flour.
Important information: This jar of yeast should be consumed quickly after opening (15 to 20 days). It is possible to keep it a little longer by freezing it. This will freeze the yeast and limit its shelf life. This 50g jar is ideal for daily use of dry yeast.
Dosage: 10 to 15 gr for 1 kg of flour.
Ingredients: instant dry yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), emulsifier E491.
Allergens: may contain traces of gluten, egg, milk, soya and nuts.
Content: 50 gr
Storage: Store away from heat and humidity. Do not ingest in the state.
