Use the animal face cutter (large) to shape numerous animal faces for cakes and pastries. Use fondant, marzipan, modeling chocolate or modeling clay and prepare the work surface carefully. For sugar paste, a little baking starch helps to prevent sticking, alternatively a silicone mat is suitable. Roll out the paste to a thickness of around 2-3 millimetres and cut out the required shapes with light pressure. Depending on the motif, repeat the process slightly staggered. Assemble the individual pieces into faces and attach them to the cake with edible glue. For fine details, we recommend powdered paint, small fondant flowers, edible paper butterflies or sugar pearls. The decorations can be easily and securely attached with royal icing.
