Airbrush stencils
There are 38 products.
Airbrush stencils let you add crisp motifs, clean outlines and soft colour fades to cakes, cupcakes and biscuits. Simply place the stencil, spray the colour over it and lift it off – leaving a neat design that would be hard to paint as evenly by brush. In this category you will find 38 stencils with designs for weddings, new arrivals, birthdays, Easter and Halloween.
Designs for every occasion
Flowers make up much of the range: roses fully open, half open and in bud, calla lilies, lotus blossoms, poppies, daisies, hibiscus, a tulip, a tiger lily, a sunflower, plus a flower vine and a nature scene. Animal designs include a butterfly, rabbit, chick, stork, swans, a hen and rooster and a bear with a heart. For a baby shower there are Baby Boy and Baby Girl, and for autumn Halloween, a pumpkin, a witch and skulls. Clowns, sun and clouds, party accessories and tartan, zebra-stripe and vintage patterns complete the selection.
Using stencils with your airbrush
The stencils work on fondant, crusted buttercream and biscuits topped with set royal icing. You will find suitable food colours under Airbrush colours and airbrush guns and compressors under Airbrush kits & accessories.
- Lay the stencil flat and, if needed, hold it in place with pins or a stencil holder.
- Spray from about 10 to 15 cm away in several thin coats rather than one heavy one.
- For multi-coloured designs, mask off areas and work from light to dark.
- Lift the stencil straight up so nothing smudges.
Care and cleaning
Rinse the stencil straight after use in lukewarm water with a little mild washing-up liquid. Do not scrub; pat it dry with a soft cloth and store it flat. This helps even the finest details keep their shape.
If you would like to dust with icing sugar or cocoa, you will find further templates in Cake stencil.
