Silicone baking mat, transparent, 30 x 40 cm

This flexible base accompanies you from preparation to freezing and ensures reliable results thanks to even heat distribution. What is it suitable for? As a baking mat, for rolling out cookie dough, fondant or marzipan and even for pouring caramel. Thanks to the surface properties, nothing sticks; it is better to place the masses on a cutting board for cutting. The transparent silicone mat, 30 x 40 cm, is temperature-resistant from -40 °C to +280 °C. Baked goods can be baked directly on the mat and then frozen in the freezer. How is it used? For intricate patterns on roulades, place a template under the transparent mat, trace it with a piping bag, spread the sponge mixture over it and bake directly on top. Doughs turn out best when they are chilled overnight. Dust the mat with a little flour for rolling out dough and with baking starch for fondant and other modeling pastes. Place biscuits, bread, rolls or pastries on the mat and place them on a baking tray in the preheated oven. For best baking results, use a perforated tray or rack. To freeze the pieces, lay them out so they freeze faster and don't stick together; after about two hours, place them in bags or an airtight box. After use, the silicone mat can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
