The CMC powder (40 g) is an indispensable aid for anyone who works with fondant and values precise, stable decorations. As a proven thickening agent, it makes rolled fondant easier to model by making the mass firmer and significantly reducing the drying time. By adding CMC, fondant gains elasticity and stability, making it particularly easy to shape delicate elements such as sugar flowers, tendrils or fine ornaments. The modeling paste releases moisture more quickly and therefore reliably retains its shape, making it ideal for detailed cake decorations. The powder is tasteless and odorless and is easy to use. Just a small amount is enough to achieve the desired properties. For optimum results, it is advisable to leave the processed fondant to rest after kneading so that the CMC can fully develop.
