The scale measures up to 100 g and shows the weight on a clear digital display in 0.01 g increments. The weighing surface is made of high-quality stainless steel and is easy to clean. Thanks to the lid, the device is also protected when not in use. It is easy to use: insert the batteries and place the scales on a flat surface. Place a light bowl or a piece of baking paper on the weighing surface and press TARE - the display jumps to 0. Now add the desired ingredient, for example yeast, pectin, baking powder or locust bean gum to the weighing surface. Use the MODE button to switch between grams, ounces, grains and carats. The precision scales are particularly suitable for recipes with very small quantities. For 1 liter of ice cream, for example, only 4 g of locust bean gum is enough - every tenth of a gram makes a difference. Precise dosing is also crucial for macarons, fruit jellies and gluten-free bread. After weighing, switch off the appliance and wipe it with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid overloading so that the measurement results remain accurate in the long term and the scales do not break.
