Since 1922 – the name that embodies exceptional chocolate
At Cakelicious, we stock the Valrhona range – a French chocolate brand of the highest calibre whose very name is a promise: Valrhona, a portmanteau of «Vallée du Rhône», refers to the region of origin of this extraordinary brand. Since its founding in 1922, Valrhona has stood for Haute Chocolaterie – chocolates cherished worldwide by head pastry chefs, chocolatiers and master cooks. Valrhona accompanies pastry chefs, chocolatiers and artisans of fine taste around the world, setting standards of quality, provenance and flavour complexity that are second to none.
Grands Crus and innovation – the Valrhona range
What particularly sets Valrhona apart is the depth and rigour with which provenance and quality are placed at the centre of everything. The single-origin chocolates, the Grands Crus, are the heart of the range – each variety with an unmistakable terroir character, a close partnership with carefully selected cocoa farmers and transparent provenance traceability. But Valrhona does not rest on tradition: with the Inspiration fruit range, the brand has created a groundbreaking innovation – fruit preparations that can be worked like chocolate and enable creations in entirely new flavour worlds. From classic dark couverture to the fruity Inspiration – Valrhona pushes the boundaries of what is possible.
B-Corp certified – sustainability as a heartfelt commitment
Valrhona holds B-Corp certification – one of the most demanding distinctions for sustainable business practices in the world. The brand actively champions fair trade, the preservation of biodiversity and the improvement of living conditions for cocoa farmers. Every chocolate created under the Valrhona name is also a commitment to a world in which pleasure and responsibility are inseparably intertwined. With Valrhona, you choose not only exceptional flavour but also a brand that truly lives its values.
