Sprinkle mixes
Sprinkle mixes are ready-made medleys of sprinkles, pearls, confetti and little sugar shapes. They let you decorate cupcakes, cakes, cake pops and many other desserts to suit your taste, without having to combine individual sprinkles yourself. From «Medley Princess» to «Green Medley» and «Black Medley» and the many 90 g Super Streusel mixes, there is a mix for every theme and colour scheme.
Mixes by theme and occasion
To help you find what you need quickly, the mixes are sorted by theme:
- Unicorn, princess & fairy tale with pastel unicorn sprinkles, the princess medley and the Zauberschule (school of magic) mix
- Football, heroes & vehicles with the football mix, the superhero mix and the police mix
- Ocean & summer with mermaid sprinkles, Tropen Träumchen (tropical dream) and ocean sugar sprinkles
- Love, wedding & gold with Goldflimmer (gold shimmer), Amore sprinkles and Goldene Hochzeit (golden wedding)
- Birthday, baby & confetti with It's a Girl, colourful confetti and Hoch Sollst Du Leben (happy birthday)
- Dino, forest & animals with the dino mix, Dschungelchen (little jungle) and the dog party mix
Holidays have their own sections: spooky mixes such as Happy Halloween are in Halloween sugar, chocolate & sprinkle decorations, festive mixes like Weihnachtszauber (Christmas magic), Rentierrummel (reindeer romp) or Schneesturm (snowstorm) in the Christmas section Decoration to sprinkle, and spring mixes such as the Super Streusel Easter mix in Easter decoration to sprinkle.
Other occasions throughout the year are covered too: St Patrick's Day sugar sprinkles, the Super Streusel New Year's Eve mix, Amore sprinkles for sweethearts or Hoch Sollst Du Leben (happy birthday) for birthdays. Pair the mix with buttercream in a matching colour: white goes with Goldflimmer, a strong orange or red with the Black Medley.
Tips for decorating with sprinkle mixes
- Avoid moisture: sugar is sensitive to damp. Spread the mix over a sugar-friendly base such as buttercream, ganache or set icing, otherwise colours and delicate shapes dissolve.
- Add them last: on whipped cream or fruit creams, scatter the pearls and sprinkles shortly before eating so your masterpiece stays intact.
- Roll instead of scatter: for a fully covered edge, roll cake pops or the side of a freshly frosted cake straight through the mix.
- Place larger pieces: use tweezers to put sugar shapes such as stars, hearts or snowflakes exactly where they should stand out.
What to look for when buying
Think first about the colours of your celebration and choose the mix to match: Pink Lady and Fluffi-Puffi for soft pastels, Goldrausch (gold rush) and Goldene Hochzeit (golden wedding) for an elegant shine, colourful confetti for cheerful children's parties. For letters and numbers, choose the alphabet sprinkles and the sugar number mix. If you bake often, go for the 400 g Super Box Goldrausch or the 250 g rainbow Super Box.
Sprinkle mixes FAQ
What is the difference between a sprinkle mix and plain sugar sprinkles?
Plain sprinkles are a single type. A sprinkle mix combines different shapes, sizes and colours into a ready-made theme.
Are there mixes for a themed children's birthday?
Yes, for example the police, colourful cars, school of magic, dog party or jungle mixes.
How should I store an opened mix?
Tightly closed, dry and away from light. That way colours and shapes stay beautiful until your next baking day.
