Horses, cows and a donkey turn any cake into a little farm. These Bullyland farm and horse figurines decorate the cake as cake toppers and then live on as toys: the Alpine cows Lara and Liesel, a brown and white cow, a donkey, a cat and a Bernese mountain dog, plus lots of horses such as the Andalusian gelding, Appaloosa stallion, Haflinger mare, Shire Horse gelding, Shetland pony and foal. Sturdy yet light, they barely dent the cake. The brown and white cow, the Shetland pony and the Shire Horse are made of PVC-free plastic without plasticisers. For horse fans and little princesses there are also the pink unicorn and standing unicorn cake figures; the standing unicorn also fits nicely on cupcakes.
Tips for a farm cake
- Fenced paddock: a fence of sponge fingers or rolled wafers around the cake and green buttercream as grass create a paddock in no time.
- A base to stand on: wash the toy figures before use and stand them on a small fondant disc so the hooves do not touch the cream directly.
- Play with sizes: the Shire Horse looks especially impressive thanks to its size; place it in the middle and group the Shetland pony and foal in front.
