Tips for an animal cake
- Two landscapes: white fondant and light blue icing create a polar landscape for the polar bear and penguin, while biscuit crumbs make savannah ground for the elephant and giraffe.
- Place them hygienically: wash the toy figures before use and stand them on a small fondant disc so they do not touch the cream directly; on white fondant the disc looks like an ice floe.
- Bamboo for the panda: a small piece of bamboo made of green fondant makes the panda the centrepiece of a zoo or Asian-style cake. The panda is made of PVC-free plastic without plasticisers and is recommended from 3 years.
