Twisted candles in gold, rose gold, light blue, pearl or multicolour catch the light beautifully; the gold, rose gold, light blue and pearl versions also have a metallic effect. Twisted pastel candles suit delicate children's and baby shower cakes. Ombré candles in blue-green or purple-pink fade from light to dark and are easy to match to the colour of the frosting. Classic gold candles in sets of 10, supplied with holders on a blister card, complete the range.
The spiral candles are rather small and subtle. A pack contains 12 candles; the multicoloured version has two each in red, orange, yellow, purple, green and blue. The ombré candles also come in packs of 12, the twisted pastel candles in packs of 6.

- Place ombré candles in a row sorted by shade to create a colour gradient across the whole cake.
- Spiral candles hold best in firm buttercream or fondant. On soft whipped cream, put a small piece of marzipan underneath for support.
- Metallic spirals in rose gold or pearl look elegant on white or pale frosting, while the multicoloured spirals go well with colourful sprinkles.
- If twelve spiral candles are not enough for the age, the gold candles from the set of 10 complement the gold spirals in a matching shade; their holders only sit firmly in a cooled cake.
