Tips for long birthday candles
- Long candles look especially good on tall cakes and drip cakes. Place them evenly spaced or group them on one side of the cake.
- Leave at least 5 cm between two candles. On a small cake, a few well-placed candles therefore look better than a dense forest.
- To stop wax dripping onto the cake, light the candles just before serving and remove them as soon as they have been blown out.
