There is also the musical flower candle that opens, turns and plays Happy Birthday, as well as white and gold Christmas candles in a set of 8. So even unusual party themes get the right candle, from a video game birthday to a Christmas cake.
Ideas for unusual party themes
- Gamer candles look especially cool on a black cake with neon accents.
- Place the musical flower candle in the centre of the cake and light it only when the singing starts for the biggest surprise. Its flame is impressively large, so leave enough space around decorations and guests.
- For a starry or space cake, combine the star-pattern number candles and the gold star candles on a midnight blue glaze.
- The white and gold Christmas candles add festive sparkle to a holiday cake or to a birthday cake in December.
Frequently asked questions about themed candles
What happens when you light the musical flower candle?
The pink petals open, the candle turns and plays the Happy Birthday tune. Closed, it is about 12 cm tall; because of its large flame it belongs in the centre of the cake with plenty of space around it.
Which candles suit a wizard party?
The set of 8 with moon, owl, cauldron, hat, lightning bolt, book, broom and symbol, each about 8 cm tall, spreads nicely across the whole cake. As a centrepiece, the single wizard candle with the inscription Anniversaire magique (French for magical birthday) works well.
