Trick candles

Trick candles bring the big surprise to every birthday: you blow and blow, and the candles simply light up again. Here you will find birthday candles with special effects: relighting trick candles that won't blow out, the musical flower candle that opens, spins and plays «Happy Birthday», coloured flame candles, sparkling number cake fountains and fluorescent number candles that glow in the dark.

Which trick candle suits your party?

• Relighting candles are the classic for a laugh at kids' parties and milestone birthdays. After being blown out, the wick keeps glowing and relights itself within seconds.
• The musical flower candle is a real eye-catcher: once lit, the petals open, the small candles burn and the «Happy Birthday» tune plays.
• Coloured flame candles burn in red, green, blue or purple and suit colourful rainbow cakes perfectly.
• Cake fountains spray a shower of golden sparks for a few seconds, ideal for the grand entrance of the cake.
• Fluorescent number candles look plain white in daylight and glow in a darkened room.

Frequently asked questions

How do I put out relighting candles?

The easiest way is to dip the candle briefly into a glass of water or pinch the wick with wet fingers or a spoon.

Are trick candles suitable for children's parties?

Yes, with an adult present. Never leave burning candles or fountains unattended, keep them away from hair and decorations and remove the candles before cutting the cake.

Can I mix them with ordinary candles?
