The piping bag set contains 10 disposable piping bags with pre-assembled fine nozzles with a 0.5 mm opening. This combination is specially designed for delicate work that requires a tiny opening and minimal material. The set is ideal for small quantities of royal icing, writing chocolate or fine decorating sugar and can be used wherever precision is required: fine lettering on cakes, delicate patterns on biscuits and gingerbread, details on cupcakes and petit fours, eyes and faces for cookie figures, as well as small decorations on cake pops and chocolates. A major advantage of the set: you can prepare several colors at the same time without needing a separate reusable bag and nozzle for each color. To use, fill the piping bag halfway with the mixture and then pipe it downwards. Twist the bag at the top and start piping with light pressure. The small opening reacts sensitively to pressure: even a fine impulse produces a clean line, too much pressure breaks the line. For royal icing, the mixture should be just right for delicate work: not too thin, otherwise it will run, but not too thick either, otherwise it can hardly be pressed through the fine opening. A good consistency flows out evenly when you lift the spoon and retains its shape. The bags and nozzles are made of food-safe PP and are hygienically pre-assembled. They are simply disposed of after use, which saves you having to clean the finest spout openings, which are often difficult to clean when icing dries on them.
