Black and white number balloons look stylish and timeless, ideal for a 30th, 40th or 50th birthday, New Year's Eve and elegant celebrations. Black and white alike are made of glossy aluminium and stand about 86 cm tall; digit by digit you build any age you like. Both colours go beautifully with gold, silver or rose gold and fit into any sophisticated party decor. The white digits also complement themes such as black and white, koala, football or donuts.
Style ideas and tips
- Helium or air: the black digits take either: with helium they float above the buffet, with air they become wall decor behind the party table.
- Black and gold look: combine a black number balloon with gold confetti balloons and gold decorations for a glamorous effect.
- Graphic mix: a black and a white digit side by side create a crisp black and white look. As both series are about 86 cm tall, the number still looks uniform.
- Long string outdoors: for the white digits, if a string longer than 2 metres is used, do not use the balloon near power lines or during thunderstorms.
Frequently asked questions about black and white number balloons
Are all digits available in both black and white?
Black comes as a complete series from 0 to 9, white in a selection of digits. If a white digit is missing, simply combine it with a black one, which suits any black and white party.
Which background shows the colours off best?
Black stands out particularly well against a light wall, while white works best against a dark background such as a curtain or a blackboard. For photos, it is worth choosing the background to suit the colour of the digits.
