Buying advice
- Number sparklers replace the classic number candle and make the age sparkle. For a two-digit age, simply choose two digits in the same colour.
- Letters from A to Z are ideal for names, initials or short words, for example at weddings, engagements or baby showers.
- Hearts and stars are versatile: hearts for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and weddings, stars for New Year's Eve and birthdays.
- Cake fountains spray a shower of sparks for a few seconds and make the cake's entrance unforgettable.
- Match the colour to the decor: gold feels festive, rose gold romantic and silver modern and cool.
Frequently asked questions
How do I light sparklers on the cake?
Push the sparkler firmly into the cake and light it at the tip, ideally with a long lighter. Then carry the cake calmly to the table.
What safety precautions should I take?
Never leave sparklers or fountains unattended, keep them away from hair, clothing and decorations and follow the instructions on the packaging. Children should only use them with an adult present.
Can I combine sparklers with ordinary candles?
Yes, it looks especially lovely: for example a number sparkler in the centre surrounded by small birthday candles to blow out.
