Erica grain mill made from Swiss stone pine

Grind fresh flour at home - from fine to coarse meal - with a compact mill that can also handle hard grains such as maize. A Ø 10 cm millstone produces around 10 kg of the finest flour per hour; coarse meal can be produced in multiples of this quantity. The smooth polished housing has a pleasant fragrance and is considered to be mite-repellent. What is the ? For wholemeal flours, coarse meal for bread crusts with seeds and mixed flours made from wheat, spelt, rye, buckwheat, chickpeas or maize. How is it used? Place the mill on a flat surface, turn the grinding part and select the desired fineness using the arrow and scale: high number for very coarse meal, arrow at zero for fine flour. Remove the lid, take out the flour bowl and fill up to 1500 g of grain into the hopper. For grains or seeds that release oil (e.g. oats, barley, seeds, nuts), grind only sparingly mixed with another grain to avoid sticking. Place the bowl under the outlet pipe and switch on the grinder; you can readjust the degree of fineness during grinding and observe the result directly. After grinding, switch off and process or store the flour. The upper part can be removed by turning it; the child safety lock then prevents the machine from starting. Residues are largely removed by the grinding process; to finish, brush out the grinding chamber with a large brush and briefly wipe the outside with a damp cloth - you should avoid intensive cleaning or water.
