Squirrel mold for chocolate figures

With this mold, you can create a detailed chocolate figure in no time at all - ideal as a special gift at Easter or during the Advent season. What is the mold suitable for? As an original alternative to Santa Claus and the Easter bunny and for making together with children. The squirrel chocolate mold shows an animal with a large tree nut and can be used with two or three envelopes to create sweet details including a slightly mottled fluffy tail by brushing on light-colored enamel and brushing over dark or milk enamel. How is it used? First clean the mold with lukewarm water and a mild detergent without lye or rinse aid, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and dry very well. Then do not touch it directly; only hold it by the rim and polish the surface with non-fraying absorbent cotton or a fine handkerchief. Only use high-quality, tempered couverture for casting. Temper in the appliance or in a water bath and make sure that no water gets into the chocolate. Use colored cocoa butter or tempered couverture for make-up. White couverture can be colored with fat-soluble powder colors; for beige, mix 1/3 milk couverture with 2/3 white couverture (both tempered, mix only briefly). Paint from the outside in with a fine brush, sponge or gloved fingers; all tools must be clean, dry and free of grease. Allow each layer to set briefly and turn the mold over from time to time to check the result. Then coat the entire mold with the desired base envelope, avoid air bubbles and clean the surface with the metal horn. Place the mold halves on top of each other and secure with the clamps provided. Now fill completely with couverture (e.g. with a soup ladle), tap the edge with the handle of a spatula, turn over the bowl and allow excess couverture to run off. If the wall is too thin, repeat the process, wipe off the drops and chill for 2-5 minutes. For the base, spread a little couverture on baking paper, press the chilled tin down firmly and chill for 10-15 minutes; remove the clamps and chill again for the same amount of time. To unmold, carefully run a spatula into the joint and separate the halves. Decorate as desired with fondant, sugar decorations or similar and wrap elegantly. With the squirrel chocolate mold, you can create personalized chocolate gifts to suit your taste.
