Rosette spout 16 mm

The 16 mm rosette nozzle conjures up beautiful rosettes, curved flowers and decorative toppings with a characteristic grooved profile in just a few simple steps. With 16 mm, you can create lush rosettes that act as the main motif on cakes and desserts. The nozzle is used for flower-shaped cupcake and muffin toppings, elegant cake edges, dessert decorations, piped cookies and Christmas cookies such as Spritzbredeli. Ideal batters are buttercream, whipped cream, chocolate cream, cream cheese toppings, meringue batters and firmer doughs for piped cookies. To insert, cut the tip of the piping bag to fit, the nozzle must sit securely and should only protrude slightly at the front. An adapter is even more practical: it consists of an inner and outer part, the spout is screwed on from the outside and can be replaced at any time, even when the bag is full. A trick to prevent the mixture from running back: turn the bag in once immediately behind the spout and press it into the spout opening. To fill, turn the top edge upside down and place the bag in a piping bag holder or measuring cup so that you have both hands free. The temperature and consistency of the mixture are important for clean results. Buttercream should be used at room temperature and well whipped, cold buttercream is thick and crumbly. Keep cream chilled and do not whip it too hard so that it remains smooth when pressed. For a classic rosette, place the nozzle vertically above the center and pipe outwards in a circle while gently releasing the pressure at the end. For a higher topping, spiral from the outer edge upwards in a circle into the center. Individual flowers can be made with a little pressure and a slight twist of the wrist. For classic spritzbredeli, pipe directly onto the baking paper, press evenly and lift the bag slightly at the end. For shortcrust pastry and piped cookies, the dough should be smooth but not too soft, otherwise the grooves will lose their contour. To clean the nozzle, rinse it with hot water immediately after use so that nothing dries out. A conical grommet brush is suitable for the narrow inner areas. The stainless steel material is dishwasher-safe and retains its shape for a long time.
