Teak baker's knife

This enables precise, deep cuts to be made in bread dough without the dough warping or sticking. The hand-crafted teak handle lies smoothly and securely in the hand, the blade can be easily replaced if necessary; a curved blade is also possible with the baguette blade insert. The knife comes with a blade guard and a cotton bag. What is it suitable for? Use the straight blade for classic diamond, cross or diagonal cuts. Clamp the blade in the handle using the screws, shape the dough piece, cover it and let it rise again and flour it with a sieve, depending on the type of bread. Hold the knife straight and cut with the front corner in the desired pattern; if the dough is soft, hold the shape with your free hand. Cut deep enough so that the crust can tear open nicely during baking. The teak baker's knife will help you with its extra-sharp edge. How is it used for baguettes? Insert the baguette insert (available separately in the store), tighten the screws, bend the razor blade slightly and attach it so that it follows the bend. Hold the knife at a slight angle over the fully proofed dough pieces and cut flat, parallel diagonals. The incisions only open up in the oven and remain relatively smooth. The teak baker's knife can also be used to create swirl and flower patterns: flour, divide visually with a thread and make the cuts in gentle curves from the center outwards until the desired shape is achieved.
