Used together with a cake ring, they serve as a hidden base to safely lift the cake with a spatula - keeping the cream and sponge intact. What are they suitable for? For building up cakes, neatly spreading the edges and attaching sprinkles, brittle or chocolate flakes. How is it used? Choose a disk that is about 2 cm smaller than the diameter of the cake, slide the spatula between the base and the disk, lift the cake slightly and apply the decoration to the edge. One side is coated white and greaseproof, the reverse side is made of food-safe cardboard. This version is particularly stable at around 0.8 mm, is intended for single use and can be cut to the right size if required. The set contains ten round slices with a diameter of 12 cm. The cake slices are stable and professional.
